LocationAnywhere Calendar01/05/2020   Full time experience based is looking for the permanent candidate to fill the position of The Social Media Manager for its portfolio of brands.

The Social Media Manager will administer the company’s social media marketing and advertising, initially focusing on Instagram and Twitter.

Administration includes but is not limited to:

- Deliberate planning, strategy and goal setting
- Development of brand awareness and online reputation
- Cultivation of leads and sales
- Reputation management

The Social Media Manager is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. That passion comes through as she/he engages with customers on a daily basis, with the ultimate goal of:

1. Turning fans into customers.
2. Turning customers into advocates.

Content management duties include:
- Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels and ads)
- Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising.
- Leverage the right tools to manage your content. (for example: Hubspot, along with HootSuite for monitoring)
Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
- Integrate social media with all other marketing channels (SEO, content marketing, email and PPC)
- Manage or oversee all social advertising campaigns.

Social Media Manager Qualifications and Experience:
- Recent Instagram work experience within last 2 years managing business Social Media pages.
- Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
- Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media. (provide links to profiles as examples).
- Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
- Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants Instagram and other channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
- Maintains excellent English writing and language skills.
- Practices superior time management.
- Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary. (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).
- Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
